After graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University (via basketball scholarship) with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication/Business; I traveled throughout Europe, South America, and the Middle East as a professional basketball player, learning about other cultures.
Upon returning Stateside, I earned my Secondary Mathematics Teaching Certificate from the University of Houston Clear Lake, and a Masters in Mathematics from Western Governors University. Currently, I am completing the final stages of my doctorate in Teaching and Learning from Grand Canyon University.
